A Valentine’s Day to LOVE
It’d be easy to let holidays slip by unnoticed. But where’s the fun in that?
Here at InSuesShoes.com we embrace every moment that’s reason to celebrate.
So during this winter month of February, let’s focus on fun and ignite some sparks on Cupid’s holiday. Let’s be intentional—and let’s create our own happiness and lovin’ fun.
Want ideas? Great, we love that!
Breakfast
- Yes, in bed. Make heart-shaped waffles, sprinkle with powdered sugar and sliced berries. (There are waffle makers that create the hearts for you!)
- Wear a silky robe and deliver the day’s first meal to your partner while he or she is still in bed.
- Toss an intentional rose on the tray, along with some freshly-squeezed o.j. for a caring, romantic touch.
Love Notes
- Write a surprise love note, Valentine’s card, silly poem, or sticky note with a sweet/sexy/funny note—attach it to your main squeeze’s steering wheel for a loving little discovery.
Dinner ‘n Dress
- Dinner reservations are ideal for Valentine’s Day. Dress in your sexy LBD, black stilettos (or OTK boots), spread some red lipstick and out the door you go.
Chocolates
- While we’ve never met a chocolate we didn’t love, consider ordering a Midwestern favorite for your fave guy or gal—from DeBrand Fine Chocolates. And yes, they may be shipped! Check out their website at www.debrand.com.
- Or, can you go wrong with Ghirardelli? We think not! Try one of their many varieties, available at most grocery stores.
Wine + Fire
- It’s February and frozen in most places in the U.S. So have a cozy fire when you get home after dinner.
- Curl up on the couch, enjoy your favorite glass of wine, stare at the flames—then make your own sparks to finish the evening.
Happy Valentine’s Day, friends!
Give it a Try!
One of our FAVORITE reds? It’s called “Rendezvous Red” from Jackson Hole Winery, Wyoming. Don’t live near Wyoming? No worries. Jackson Hole Winery has membership tiers in their “Wolf Pack Wine Club,” wherein members receive shipments twice per year. In our opinion? The cost is TOTALLY WORTH IT. For more information, visit their website at www.JacksonHoleWinery.com. Let ‘em know InSuesShoes sent you! (p.s. Notice the bottle pictured is empty… we need to order more ourselves!)
