Got goals? Of course you do.
Let’s reach ’em in March. Deal? Deal.
Yes, the fun, superstitious reputation surrounding the month of March focuses on ‘luck.’ But short of finding four-leaf clovers and pots ‘o gold at the end of a rainbows, luck doesn’t help our goals progress much.
It’s just not the reality for most of us.
Instead? Let’s cross fingers for luck, but engage in an action plan using thought, focus, or brawn and sweat if that’s what it takes. And as your goals begin to develop into fruition, others may see your results as ‘luck.’ But we know darn well it’s the effect of hard work. Of not giving up. Of smiling at naysayers and pushing forward anyways.
We must be our own coach. Our own cheerleader. Our own boss. And our own honest, albeit still kind, critic. Exercise self-love, but also implement self-discipline. When both work together, it’s an attitude for success.
And if YOU need someone to encourage and help you along your pathway–taking steps toward your own goals? I’m here.
As I’ve stated in the past, it’s not my strength to be self-disciplined. I’m a free-spirit at heart. I want the wind blowing through my hair, I love speed–and even though I’m more cautious than I once was, thrills still make me smile. But they don’t advance me.
It is only hard work and discipline that excel our goals. And drive is the originating power to put both into action.
So, sure, March can be a lucky month. And as we work hard to chase our goals, just watch how lucky we become. 🙂
Happy March, InSuesShoes friends! xo
