September brings us opportunity.

While August is a combo of final summer vacation days followed by back-to-school busyness, and October starts a lengthy (and, yes, amazing) series of seasonal holidays, September is a month to reset. To rest. And to realign within, while feeling gratitude for each leaf a’foot, each cool breeze, and each cozy sweater we TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT. (I know I’m not the only one 😆.)

Yes, as fall arrives, apple trees are dotted in reds, mums begin their profusion of blooms, evening temps encourage toasty bonfire gatherings, and it is, indeed, a time to focus on (and to protect) our inner peace.

Peace within our minds, and comfort within our souls. Yes, it’s time to *exhale* breathe.

Schedules and new-and-old routines alike fall peacefully into their groove in the month of September.

Consistency begins to reign in daily structure–and this repetition helps us attain a heightened taste of self-discipline, accomplishment, and is the fuel some of us welcome to help with realigning our goals.

September is a beautiful time to refocus on what matters. On where we’re going–and best yet, we thoughtfully analyze just how we’ll get there.

Let us not forget, happiness is actually not most realized when we reach a goal; it’s acquired during the journey toward achieving that goal. This proves it’s the process + fulfillment in-progress that’s the most impactful gauge to fill us with happy. Productivity can be one of the mind’s most effective medicines.
