Since schools are soon heading into summer break and the official kick-off of the summer season is right around the corner, I am sharing this fun-and-fruity shot that will leave anyone who tries it thinking of sun, surf and sand!

In a shaker with ice, pour equal parts:

• Banana Liqueur
• Peach Schnapps
• Coconut Rum
• Vodka
• Pineapple Juice

Shake well to chill and pour into shot glasses (I prefer to use larger shot glasses or a rocks glass for this one). Finally, take your grenadine and add just a dash to each glass (it will sink to the bottom of the glass). Pass them out and shoot them down!

Note: this also makes a tasty drink for anyone who would prefer it that way, instead of a shot. Simply garnish with a maraschino cherry and slice of pineapple or orange (and a little umbrella if you have one!).
